These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.
The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
